Hajime Tabata, director of upcoming Playstation Portable release Final Fantasy Agito XIII and The 3rd Birthday (a.k.a. The Parasite Eve Reboot), has given fans a progress report on his upcoming Portable titles via Twitter. He commented that the “real-time quality” that his development team was able to achieve by becoming increasingly skilled with the functions of the PSP to the point where they are able to easily surpass the quality in past games such as Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII.

Final Fantasy Agito XIII, alongside Final Fantasy XIII and Final Fantasy Versus XIII, make up the Fabula Nova Crystallis: Final Fantasy XIII compilation.

The 3rd Birthday is the third Parasite Eve game after Parasite Eve 2 which was released in 2000 and is a spinoff from the main series. Both games are being developed for the PSP by Square Enix, though local release dates have yet to be determined.
